Devon Kane has been an avid customer of Back on Track products for almost her entire riding career, and Back on Track is returning her love by recently becoming Kane’s sponsor.
“The product quality is amazing,” says Kane, who uses Back on Track products regularly on her beloved horses. The international company offers items with joint and muscle protection properties. “I believe in this product a lot.”
Devon Kane began her dressage career by spending thirteen years training with United States Olympic Bronze Medalist Michelle Gibson. She went on to train with other top riders such as the Olympians Hubertus Schmidt and Debbie McDonald, and her impressive winnings include a USDF Gold Medal in 2012, a USDF Silver Medal in 2010, and a NAJYRC Gold Medal in 2007. She also successfully trains her own horses. Her self-trained horse Destiny has recently been proving Kane’s training abilities in the Grand Prix ring.
It was while Kane was training with Michelle Gibson that she first encountered Back on Track. “I’ve known the owner Bo Lofvander for a really long time,” Kane explains. “When he first started coming out with the products, he came to my barn to approach Michelle Gibson about sponsoring it, so I’ve been very familiar with the products from the get go. Bo is so focused on quality in making the products. That’s his goal. I love the fact that he’s so involved in making sure that his products really work and do what they’re supposed to do for the horses.”
Back on Track is based out of Uppsala, Sweden, and distributes its joint and muscle protection products throughout at least 20 other countries. The products are created to be especially beneficial to the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints of horses, canines, and people. The company offers items such as blankets, saddle pads, exercise boots, and leg wraps.
One of Kane’s favorite Back on Track products is the riding gloves . “They feel great and my hands don’t hurt. The horses pull and pull and I’m not getting blisters and my hands don’t hurt like they used to. Other than that, I like the big fluffy pillow wraps. I love wrapping in those. I also use the mesh cooler all the time to help them dry off, and I use the wool cooler too. I love all the blankets.” So do her horses, especially Destiny. “All he wears are his Back on Track blankets and leg wraps,” Kane smiles.
Kane and her horses live in Wellington, Florida, at the dressage training, showing, and boarding facility Diamante Farms. The beautiful facility is located just outside of the show grounds, and is owned by Devon Kane and her mother Terri.
